The fabrics in our products are all designed/made by us and either digitally printed or hand stamped (block printed). Some of our garments we sew in house, and we also have help from another mother/daughter team, Carol and her daughter Carolynn, who are based in Brisbane, QLD. Before we post out any of our garments we always ensure they pass our quality control standards.

Our laser cut earrings and other products are all made by us in our studio in Gunning NSW.

A resounding YES! This is very important to us, which is why we do not have our products mass-manufactured overseas.

Due to the cost of having our goods manufactured in Australia, unfortunately we do not have the capacity to wholesale our products. Therefore you will not find them stocked in any stores. Please take a look at our Markets page to find out when we are attending a market or event near you.

Yes! Despite what you may have thought, our block printed garments are actually very easy to care for. Simply wash inside out with like colours on the cold setting in your washing machine. Do not tumble dry, do not dry clean. For best results we recommend ironing on a warm setting, inside out. Our block printed garments are heat set for longevity and you will find that our garments can be washed time and time again and will still look fresh!

We recommend hand washing scarves and we include detailed care instructions with our orders.

Yes! Most of our fabrics are 100% cotton, but we also use a some cotton/linen or cotton/hemp fabric blends.

We try to ensure our garments are as true to size as possible but as babies vary greatly in size as do sewing patterns, please see individual listings for sizing. If you have a specific query regarding sizing please send us a message.

The block printing process involves hand carving a design onto a stamp (we use rubber, or “ezycarve”) similar to linocutting, then applying ink to the stamp and stamping the fabric using a special ink.

We accept returns and exchanges for change of mind or size for non-custom orders within 30 days. Sale items will not be refunded for change of mind or size. Earrings cannot be refunded due to hygiene issues. The cost of postage back to us will be at the buyer’s expense. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

All parcels are sent via Australia Post with tracking. Once your order is dispatched you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number and an electronic link. Once the parcel has been lodged we cannot take responsibility for the transit times. If in the event that your parcel has been incorrectly delivered or has missed its expected delivery date, please email us at hello@bandicute.com.au.

Bandicute's earrings are designed, laser cut and handmade right here in our studio in Gunning NSW. Our earrings are super lightweight made with high quality surgical steel posts and jewellery findings for sensitive ears. We think this combination will suit most sensitive ears.
